A comforting and flavorful seafood dish featuring tender shrimp in a rich, creamy sauce that’s perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

  • Shrimp – 500 g (1.1 lb), peeled and deveined

  • Mixed seafood – 300 g (10.5 oz)

  • Olive oil – 2 tablespoons

  • Unsalted butter – 2 tablespoons

  • Onion – 1 medium, finely chopped

  • Garlic cloves – 4, minced

  • All-purpose flour – 2 tablespoons

  • Seafood or vegetable broth – 240 ml (1 cup)

  • Heavy cream – 360 ml (1½ cups)

  • Salt – 1 teaspoon

  • Black pepper – ½ teaspoon

  • Paprika – 1 teaspoon

  • Italian seasoning – 1 teaspoon

  • Fresh parsley – 2 tablespoons, chopped

Instructions

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet and cook shrimp for about 2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

  • Add remaining olive oil and butter, then sauté onion until soft. Add garlic and cook briefly.

  • Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Slowly add broth and cream, stirring until smooth.

  • Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Simmer gently for 5 minutes.

  • Return shrimp and seafood to the pan and cook until tender. Garnish with parsley and serve.
